Student Council
The Student Council of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Yerevan Branch, is a form of student self-government established by the Branch to ensure students’ right to participate in the management of the educational process, address important matters concerning student life, promote students’ social engagement, and support and implement student-led social initiatives.
The objectives of the Student Council are to:
- foster students’ civic culture and active citizenship, while promoting their social maturity, independence, self-organization, and self-development;
- ensure students’ right to participate in university governance and in the assessment of the quality of the educational process;
- develop students’ self-government skills and prepare them for competent and responsible participation in society;
- develop a respected and capable student leadership body able to address student affairs and represent students’ interests.

Student Scientific Society (SSS)
The Branch has a Student Scientific Society (SSS), a voluntary association of students engaged in the Branch’s research and scientific outreach activities.
Today, the SSS focuses on several key objectives:
- supporting the professional development of students engaged in research and development.
- creating conditions for students to develop and implement research and scientific outreach initiatives;
- engaging students in research and scientific outreach activities;
- promoting interregional and international scientific cooperation among young people;
- supporting the professional development of students engaged in research and development.
