One-Stop Support Service for Student Families
In accordance with the state policy on family protection and the preservation of traditional family values, the University is creating a supportive and family-friendly environment that encourages students to start families and provides support to young student families, mothers and fathers with children.
Definition of a Student Family
A student family is a category of young family in which both spouses, married in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, including those raising a child or children, or a person who is the sole parent or adoptive parent of a child or children and is aged 35 or under (except in cases provided for by Part 3 of Article 6 of Federal Law No. 489-FZ of December 30, 2020, “On Youth Policy in the Russian Federation”), are enrolled in secondary vocational and/or higher education programmes.

Financial Support
- One-time financial assistance for students in connection with the birth of a child
- One-time financial assistance for students who have a child
- One-time financial assistance for members of student families who have a child
- One-time financial assistance for students who are single fathers or mothers
- One-time financial assistance for students raising a child with a disability
- One-time financial assistance for students on maternity leave, as well as students who have registered with a medical institution at an early stage of pregnancy
- One-time financial assistance for students and employees in connection with marriage
- Financial assistance for students in urgent need who have a child

Female students may be granted academic leave for pregnancy and childbirth, as well as parental leave until the child reaches the age of 1.5 or 3 years, in accordance with Order No. 455 of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated June 13, 2023, “On Approval of the Procedure and Grounds for Granting Academic Leave to Students.”
